Nate has been with Journeys School since inception in 2001 and was appointed Head of School in 2006. He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College and an M.S. in Zoology and Physiology from the University of Wyoming. Nate has taught science at the secondary and university level and all levels of math at the secondary level. He graduated from the Teton Science School graduate program in natural science in 1996, directed a student sailing program in the British Virgin Islands, completed a NOLS instructor course and led various student groups on extended backcountry trips.

Rhonda holds a degree in elementary education from Michigan State University. She gained 10 years of classroom teaching experience in Michigan, Wyoming and South Carolina. She was a public school librarian for three additional years before coming to Journeys School where she is currently establishing the library. In addition Rhonda is the director of admissions and oversees administrative functions.
