Sydney joins the Journeys School after completing her Masters of Education at Harvard University. Originally from Atlanta, Sydney lived in Colorado where she taught art to K-5 students. She graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English and Fine Arts. Sydney has found much success educating different types of learners by integrating the arts into the general curriculum. As an artist, she has studied painting and printmaking, but now creates art primarily as a bookmaker. Sydney is thrilled to be part of the Journeys community.

Dennis was raised in Kentucky and has spent the last 13 years in the Western US .  Within those years he has completed a BFA in Sculpture from Colorado State , taught sculpture at the Colorado Rocky Mountain School , worked as a senior instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership School. Dennis has spent countless hours drawing, climbing, snowboarding and surfing within North America, South Africa and Central America . 

Ryan has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Wyoming. He has a Masters of Science in Environment and Natural Resources/Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Wyoming. Ryan competed in the triathlon in the Olympic Games in 2000.
